Carta Demonstrates World First On-Demand EMV Issuance at Cartes 2011
Carta Worldwide, in conjunction with MasterCard Worldwide and The Hub Co. will be demonstrating on-demand and in-market issuance at Cartes 2011, in Paris, France.
In-Market issuance, powered by MOTAPS is the first personalization service of its kind, offering banks, issuers, program managers, and event/venue operators an unprecedented opportunity to deliver immediate spending power to consumers. Consumers can now get their payment devices instantaneously, at a location that’s convenient for them and the product being issued. The Streamlined solution is highly secure with easy market deployment, low set-up costs and low overall cost of ownership.
At Cartes 2011, Carta demonstrated the Instant Issuance Kiosk, allowing consumers to instantly obtain a fully operational MasterCard EMV card in an un-attended environment.
