Carta is pleased to announce two new appointments to the Carta team:  Wayne Clarke, and Nemer Abourizk.

Wayne Clarke will join the company as its new CFO with effect from September 12th, 2011.  Wayne has extensive experience in the banking and payments industries, including CFO positions at First Data,  Barclays Canada, and CIBC Mellon.  With his track record of success and industry expertiese, Wayne will  be a valuable member of Carta's management team, and will support the company's strategic growth.  As CFO, Wayne will be responsible for strategic and operational finance matters, and support the company's internal compliance team.

Nemer Abourizk joined the company as of 6th September 2011, and will be providing legal council and advisory services to the business.   Nemer has significant experience and a proven track record in providing business-aligned legal services to companies in the financial services, payments and telecommunications sectors. Nemer’s areas of practice include technology law, intellectual property, corporate and securities, commercial and employment law with a core expertise in technology contracts
