Operations Team Manager

Position Description: 

The Operations Team Manager reports to the Global Director of Operations. The team manager is required to support new and revised processes to support the operational functions of Carta. The Operations Manager is an essential component of Carta operations and will play a leading role in the selection and development of the operations team. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of the operations and processes supporting live prepaid card programs, both from a Carta as ‘processor only’ and Carta as ‘Program Manager’ point of view.
• The management of the systems, staff, suppliers and services that support the Carta prepaid operation.
• Management of 2nd tier client support, including co-ordination of responses to client queries, incident resolution etc.
• Daily fraud team activities
• Daily chargeback team activities
• Liaison with the Account management and commercial teams to manage impacts and risks associated with change management activities

Required Skills/Experience:

• Background with similar roles in a fast growing B2B2C focused company
• Experience utilizing real time IT and customer service systems
• Prior Prepaid card operational knowledge
• The ability to identify gaps in processes and design and implement effective solutions is critical.
• Must be an excellent communicator, able to build effective relationships at all levels, externally with clients as well as internally with colleagues.
• Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and a self-starter
